TLT Cooperative Courses: Call for Proposals

The SUNY TLT Cooperative in partnership with the SUNY Training Center offers non-credit online professional development courses for SUNY Faculty and Instructional Support Staff. The TLT Cooperative is seeking to develop new courses to be offered during 2007. We are particularly interested in new projects that highlight teaching with blogs, wikis, simulations or interactive games; and techniques that blend online with face-to-face teaching.

Formats
Possible formats include short workshops or webinars, seminars, and intensive 4- 6- or 8-week courses. Modest stipends are available for both development and delivery. Instructional Design support is also available for course developers.

Submit Proposals
You are invited to submit proposals at any time. Proposal forms are available by email from Jennie Dautermann, the TLT Program Manager.

Previous offerings have included:

  • Creating Streamed, Compressed, and Narrated PowerPoint with Impatica
  • Making your BlackBoard course work for students
  • Teaching online with WebCT
  • Facilitating student group-work in online courses
  • Managing online gradebooks
  • Generating E-Portfolios for Program Assessment
  • Confronting fair use and copyright issues in the classroom
