is 4-week course will explore the newly revised MERLOT (Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching) website introduced in August 06 and provide a hands-on introduction to the pedagogical uses of online learning objects. We will use the repository as a resource for finding, collecting and sharing learning objects and learning activities in this user-centered, searchable collection of peer reviewed online learning materials.
Created by registered members, the MERLOT collection includes and a number of support services for faculty development. Through this resource you can find thousands of learning materials, meet and share with colleagues in your discipline, and create your own personal collection for quick and easy access for yourself and your students. This course will run on the ANGEL course management system.
